Hi everyone, ONEin3 Boston Mayor’s Advisory Council member Danielle Pillion here reporting on all fun things in the Fort Point/South Boston Waterfront.
On Saturday, October 2nd 11 – 5 p.m. Boston will celebrate its first Local Food Festival on the Fort Point Channel in front of the Boston Children’s Museum – they will even be closing down the Congress Street Bridge!
Themed Healthy Food for All!, this is a zero waste, FREE festival celebrating the virtues of eating local food sourced in the Boston area, Massachusetts, and New England. There will be some free tastes and others all $5 or less. Yes, there will be local beer, mead and wine to sample as well (10 tastings for $10 and 25 for $20)!
I’ll be there at the Friends of Fort Point Channel table, so stop by and say hi!
Next blog: Halloween on the Harbor, adult trick-or-treating at its best! Keep checking the ONEin3 blog for more.

Thanks for the heads up Danielle! I may need to stop by and write about this as my next “fun thing”.

I’m thrilled that this is in my neighborhood. Slow Food this weekend, then food at the Museum of Science the next weekend (www.mos.org/food).

But will there be deep-fried beer? That’s what I want to know. Thx for the post
