It’s Friday and I’ve gone stupid. Paysha Rhone from Boston Lyric Opera sent me an email about their open house with the word “FREE” in the subject line and 2 of the first 3 sentences, so naturally I sent her an email back saying “Is this event free?”
Anyway, the Boston Lyric Opera is a great Boston institution and they’re hosting a FREE (free) open house on November 6th at the Shubert Theatre.
From 11:00am to 5:00pm, attendees get an all access tour of the Shubert, including dressing room tours, performances by performers from the BLO production of Tosca, make up and wig stations for the kiddies, and the second annual Aria Contest for Teens.
This is the perfect event for all you opera fans out there (especially if you have kids), so get on it.
