…but I really do not frequent it enough. So, when I found out that ONEin3 was hosting a Neighborhood Night in the North End AND was offering a raffle, I knew I had to clear my social calendar. Yes, it’s packed. Don’t be jealous.
Just kidding.
I love raffles.
Anyway, last night was the triumphant return of North End Neighborhood Night at The Livingroom Boston. A good time for all. Let me paint a picture for you: A large ONEin3 banner, a sign-in sheet (of course), mood lighting, a lot of awesome people, and appetizers that were gone in 3.4 seconds. Upon arriving at 6pm, I got a drink and planted myself on a comfy red chair, which could have been seen as antisocial, but I did have two companions (ONEin3 Council alumni), so it was totally ok. I was going to honor said companions’ anonymity by not mentioning names but Devin already posted a picture of us in yesterday’s blog entry. Good job Devin (Char)Cole. ..At like 7:45pm I realized the raffle was yet to happen, so I found Devin and basically demanded that he make it happen. I mean some people were tired (i.e. me) and wanted to get home in time to watch Modern Family. Don’t judge. I don’t have DVR. I ended up not winning anything, but it was still a good night filled with even better conversation.
I would definitely recommend checking out The Livingroom if you have never been there. While it’s technically not IN the heart of the North End, we’ll say it’s close enough to be considered part of the neighborhood. It’s the perfect place for an after work drink, since I assume most of us want to be on our couch anyway, so why not go to a place called The Livingroom??
Until next time…(which may involve me visiting a Howl-ween event at a local city dog park. Stay tuned.)

Great time! It is always good to see your neighbors… and the extended Boston neighbors (me) that love having an excuse to show up in the North End.
