NECN In Focus: Saving for retirement

In Focus today, saving for retirement.  Is it possible to catch up?

How can dogs in costumes not be a good time?

I do not know. It’s not possible…which is why I chose to attend the Friends of the South Boston Bark Park’s Howl-o-Ween Fundraiser this past Saturday. The event was at 10am, which is early for me (don’t judge), but once again, dogs + costumes = too adorable to miss, so I had to stop by. Now, before I continue, I need to admit that I do not own a dog. I am a loyal and loving friend of the feline. But, every once in a while I need to escape from the world of litter boxes and hairballs.

Just imagine a fenced in area with over 30 hyper canines running around, dressed like fairies, postal workers, Shaq, a skunk, etc.  The “office worker” dog won the costume contest, but in my opinion, everyone was a winner. Photos below.

If you live in the city and own a dog, I highly recommend joining (and/or donating to) the organization. They can never have enough “friends”.

Until next time…

P.S. Shout out to fellow ONEin3 Mayor’s Advisory Council member Courtney Curran (and friend of the Bark Park) who told me about the event!
