120 Minutes (road trips from) Boston

This week's post is dedicated to the places you can go to outside of Boston in less than 120 minutes. On Saturday, I went to visit my friend at Amherst for homecoming. Thanks to the Peter Pan bus I was able to leave in the morning and two hours later be in the stands for halftime. Besides Western Mass, there are lots of destinations outside of the city. Providence, Rhode Island is a fun city to explore and since it is accessible by the commuter rail it can be a great day trip. Also on the commuter rail is Salem. While it might take more than 120 minutes New York City is an easy trip with Mega Bus and Bolt Bus. The tickets run from as cheap as $1 to $40. Next time you have a long weekend why not venture outside of Boston?
