Liz Miranda, Roxbury, Coordinator @ Bunker Hill Community College Community Center for Entrepreneurship
For most young adults the thought of starting a business venture can be daunting. We may not be financially stable yet, or have the well-developed networks or the flexibility in our lives to begin our own businesses. However, we always have great ideas!
When I started my event planning company, I was 19 and a second year at Wellesley. I didn’t know anything about Business other than I knew how to make money and bring people together. Over the last ten years I have learned a great deal about the things you should know BEFORE you take a leap of faith to start something new.
If you already have a business or thinking of starting one, this free workshop and legal clinic hosted by Goodwin Proctor LLP can surely assist if you have been wondering about the following questions. Or you may have friends or family who could really use this advice.
