As many of you probably noticed (or enjoyed), Boston snowed last week! Although we haven’t got enough snow for a snow ball fight or to build snowmen, there are still a lot of fun activities we get to enjoy in this chilly weather in Boston. Mayor Menino has put together a list of public events for the Bostonians this winter (from November to January), that we encourage you to check out!
In addition to snow and beautiful architecture, Boston’s very own holiday/tree lightings contribute to making Boston’s winter so attractive. Some of the must-sees are Copley Square (Dec. 2, 5:30pm), Boston Common (Dec. 5, 8pm), and Commonwealth Avenue Mall (Dec. 5, 8:15pm); you can find a comprehensive list of tree lightings in different neighborhood in Boston in the booklet, or go to City of Boston’s Park & Recreation site for updates!
We also picked out the following events from the winter festives listing for the ONEin3ers to check out. See the booklet for more details!
