“When I was growing up, my parents owned a small business. They were pillars of our community before something like ‘corporate citizenship’ was a thing. When I opened my own restaurant I tried to follow their example of being a responsible small business person. Whether it’s pursuing environmental goals through efficiency and recycling programs or by giving back to our community, everyday I try to make our neighborhood a better place.
