Time Out Boston’s Best of the Week

Hi ONEin3ers!

Things are getting really crazy at TOB HQ—we launched our shiny new site just last week, and now we’re gearing up for the 23rd Annual Boston Music Awards at the Liberty Hotel on Sunday.

See below for our picks for this weekend and beyond. You can get these updates sent right to your inbox by signing up for our newsletter here, or stay in the loop by following us on Twitter and Facebook.

Hello and How Do You Do?

Hello fellow ONEin3ers! My name is Dawn Quinlan and I just joined the 2010 - 11 ONEin3 Boston Mayor’s Advisory Council. Even before we had our first Council meeting, Devin asked us to get involved as blog contributors. He basically begged and pleaded…so how could I say No? (Just kidding, he didn’t, but he did ask nicely). And since I am so excited to be part of the ONEin3 community AND I’ve always wanted to blog, here I am!

A little about me: I’m originally from the Bronx, NY (No, I am not a Yankees fan), but I’ve been a Boston resident for over 10 years. I’ve always loved to explore the city (by MBTA or foot since I don’t have a car) and go to local events, but for the past three years, I’ve been completely pre-occupied with work and a part time grad program. However, I just finished school, which means I have free time again! Therefore, my goal as a new ONEin3 blogger extraordinaire is to do at least one fun thing a month and write about it. Boston is a great city and there are so many awesome things to see and do, both in the city and beyond.

I will definitely write at least one entry per month, but I’m aiming for more. This weekend I’m going to Maine for the first time ever (as a side note, I think I need to explain that this is exciting because I rarely leave Boston and I am basically afraid of the suburbs and any place that is not a major city), so stay tuned!

~Dawn
